Today is the day we presented our project to Nuernberg Messe team. I had the course “project work” and we did a project for them. We already did our presentation two weeks ago as the final presentation, but that wasn’t the end of the full story. We still needed to present our idea to the company because they were the one who wanted to hear the result the most. We met up in the school then rehearsed for one time and we went to the company. In the conference room, there were 8 managers waiting to see what our project is. I sucked at the end of my part and the worst is, I did the ending part, I thought I didn’t close the presentation well while the others did perfectly. They didn’t say anything to me but I knew I was not a good presenter. We also got some useful feedback from the team (managers). They pointed out some that were not easy to achieve. Touche. Today is no school day to me, all my classes are over so I can just focus on studying. After my lovely lunch, I went to Jenn and lent her Scott’s calculator, then I went to Kyle’s room and chilled.  Kyle's room I tried his mom’s home-made cookie, she sent it from the U.S. that was so sweet! We just chilled there for a couple hours, watched some funny videos. We then headed down to the city center to find Ines’s birthday gift, today is her birthday. We wanted to give her an Ukelele and a teddy bear. We found a decent one and it cost 35 euros. We went to meet Alla afterwards, she didn’t like the color of the Ukelele, she wanted it to be green but Kyle forgot that he promised her. doesn’t matter I think as long as Ines likes it, it should be fine. I didn’t do very well on my Accounting & Taxation exam, it was harder than I thought. I even didn’t fully finish all the questions but rushed it. Despite the exam, I had invited my friends to my place and had “hot pot” together. What is “hot pot”? some people from Europe never heard of it and it was easy to explain the way I made hot pot but, as to the ingredients, I bought “dried bean curds, fish ball, sliced beef and the sauce to make the soup”. The others I could find in a normal market such as mushrooms, cabbage and white carrots. I invited Stephan, Baris, Carlo and Iker, they were all curious about the hot pot even though they might hear of it already.  Hot pot! It took me one hour to prepare the food including rice. After everything was all set, we then Guten Apetit! It was nice of them not to complain about my cooking skill, and enjoyed the hot pot. I made two rounds because I really bought a lot. I woke up at 10:30 after getting so drunk and completely wasted. I never got hangover which is a good thing to me, that I just took a shower and made my breakfast. I remembered I made a deal with Baris that we would go to city center and find something cheap (winter sale), so we met up at 1pm and had lunch with Chris, then setting out to downtown. I still felt a bit tired, but Baris was worse than me, he went to club till 5am, and drank more beer than me. In the city center, there were still lots of shops having the sale, I didn’t know which one to go first, but finally I bought two pants and Jiny also came with us. We spent quite a lot of time there and tonight we had a farewell dinner with Eva and Magane, my good French friends, they are leaving Germany tomorrow and only will come back for the exam. My German A2 exam was my first final exam and I sucked. I literally did so bad on it because I couldn’t understand the questions. And our professor gave us a paper and I thought it must be related to our exam but it turned out wasn’t. after the exam, Ivy and I were planning to go somewhere but not studying as we were not in the mood, we just met Abed and Anders on the way and they wanted to explore the city, to a small castle on the google map, so we joined them and it didn’t take long to go there. It was a strange place which is so contradict to the city center. Some of the houses are built up by metal scraps, didn’t look like somewhere people can live. But the castle was good, it wasn’t that outstanding but I enjoyed the environment. We walked along the river and to the tallest building in Nuernberg, also very different from the normal buildings. It took us 2 hours and we went back to the school to study but we ended up talking to each other, just chilled there and no progress, so I...

Today Ivy came to my room and we studied German together. Since she came here quite late, we started eating lunch before studying. She brought pork, Asian noodles, chicken wings and, other sauces. After that we started studying, very slow. At around 18:30pm, I went to gym with Scott, spending almost one hour there. I asked Scott to come to have dinner with us, so he brought his food and cooked in my kitchen. We had a very special experience here, we did not realize that the time flies. It is already 12am.! I still had to finish all the dishes we left here.

Today’s weather was very lovely, I went to Hsiu yi’s dorm and had lunch there, it was my first time going there. I went there with Jiny and just found out Amber and Jenn were also coming. I prepared the beef noodle but it was just the sauce, it tasted like beef noodle. I should have bought the beef! And I overcooked the noodle because we were waiting for the others to come. Jiny prepared the Korean noodle with rice cake and some kind of a fish dumpling. I have to say every time I enjoy her dishes very much. Hsiu Yi prepared a home-made pizza, was also tasty. Baris came 40 mins after us, he brought something didn’t need to cook so I guessed it was a snack. Finally Amber and Jenn found their here, their cook curry and corn soup at Hsiu Yi’s place, although we were only six people but still had a great time.
