20160402-04 Graduation Trip
4
years ago, our high school teachers took us to Kenting as our graduation trip,
we really had a great time that can be called “memory”. Ever since then, I’ve
never been to Kenting, not even once. Until I am about to graduate from
college, we (27 persons) decided to go there in hopes to avoid the endless rain
in Taipei and to build memory together, a trip we’ll never forget. Here, I
really want to thank 彭煒玲、劉芸搖、范嘉仁 and 蔡文寧. They found a
very lovely B&B where all the people can be accommodated for 2 nights, and
the shuttle bus that drove us to Kenting and back. Without their unconditional
helps, we wouldn’t be able to make this trip happen, so big thanks to them. We
didn’t want to get stuck in the traffic all the way to the south, to this end,
we had to gather before 7 and get on bus. I can never feel tired of waking up
early because of something exciting that’s going to happen, we were pumped, we
were psyched, we were flying high!! We were 8 hours on the bus, we were singing
all the time, using the Karaoke which didn’t provide new songs. Terumi, a
Japanese girl who became our classmate since third year, was sitting next to
me. We had a game which girls picked up the draws made by our organizers to
decide who be whose driver on motorcycle for the following two days. Since not
everyone has lots of burden on school works, our spring break might be longer,
some were already on their spring break, we picked them up in Tainan. It all
took 8 hours to Kenting, we rented motorcycles.
The B&B was lovely,
traditional and felt like home. They have everything we needed.
The first night was relaxing,
we had BBQ even though the amount was scarily less.
We played some group games
which they used gender to decide the group. I had no idea how we lost the game
against those girls but I did remember everyone enjoyed it a lot, there was laughter
the whole time.
The
second day, we went to the beach and had lots of water activities there,
including banana boat, snorkeling. The sun was toxic, I didn’t wear sunscreen,
and that’s the time when I got tanned.
Everybody was exhausted after doing all
the activities, we were craving for food, there was an old man who took us to a
local seafood restaurant and only cost around 200 NTD each, such good bargain!
Terumi
didn’t eat anything at all, she couldn’t. she asked me to take her to the
hospital in town, so I didn’t join others for the car racing game. I just
wanted to make sure she is all right. The host of the B&B was so friendly
that she drove us to the hospital when we reached back. Afterwards, she still
decided to go meet the people although I thought she’d better stayed at the
B&B for the rest of the day. We played beach volleyball but some were too
tired to play. We had consumed too much energy today, no one wanted to play
games when we were back.

Last day morning, I guess everyone had enough sleep from yesterday, at least I got 7 hours of sleeping. I was one of the few early birds, some of us had early breakfast then rode on scooters to go around the place, we accidentally found a place where people can observe the best sunset, but we are leaving Kenting today, I will come back next time.
We took lots of photos at Eluanbi tower, since
we all wore our gowns on, people took photos without asking. I could feel
everyone’s tired again, they didn’t want to do anything but relax. I went out
again with some people who still can move, we rode all the way down to the
southernmost, the view was totally different and it’s more worth visiting.
Sadly,
we were running out of time because the bus was already standing by at the
B&B so we had to go. For me, the most beautiful is not the scenery, but the
people who are there side by side with you, it makes you strong.
