2016.09.11 ChioTian Forest 九天森林
So I
watched “陣頭” (Din
Tao：Leader of the Parade)
three years ago, and that’s about time I knew about 九天民俗技藝團 (ChioTian). But, I didn’t
know where this group is located until recently. I had been there once yet I didn’t
have a closer look. This time, I went with my parents. Many people actually go
there ‘cause there is a beautiful forest, like in the realm of fantasy. You can
go to Instagram and search #九天森林,
there you will find out the truth that those visitors are coming from other
cities.
The forest has probably overshadowed 九天民俗技藝團. We parked out car and walked a little bit inside, first we saw farms, farms and farms. It’s all laterite which is good to plant potatoes. Peasants are busy reaping these sweet potatoes and turning them into cash. Under such toxic weather, we seemed a tad out of place as they were still working. About 10 minutes of walking (there are signs all the way) the forest is right in front of us. Mostly young adults, they made that poise and camera shoot. The temperature is cooler in the field, totally made me want to stay longer.
I like to see different types of trees, and observe the leaves on them.
The whole trip was very lovely except one thing: I saw lots of garbage on the roads, I hope these people can show some class to this place and those hard-working farmers out there.
