So today I carried out my promise and went to Eichstätt stadt to
visit Minas with Ines. We took the train to go there but I got off the wrong
station, by the time when we finally arrived there, it was already 2:30 pm. Bad
timing because all the restaurants were having a break time, we couldn’t go to
the restaurant Minas wanted to take us to but still tried the local food in a
nice restaurant. She also invited her Chinese friend—Vincent to be the tour
guide, he was very funny but just too talkative and self-confident.

Eichstätt
stadt is a small and remote town, it’s similar to Passau from my perspective. You
couldn’t have as much fun as in Nuremberg which is relatively a big and modern
city. The sun descended behind the hill very quickly after we went out the
restaurant. They took us to climb up a hill, getting a nice view of the city. But
just as I said, it was already dark so we couldn’t take nice pictures.

They also
took us to see their Christmas market, it was so small that only 10 booths were
selling foods and handcraft and the price was cheaper than Nuremberg. We really
had a great time with them and we went back at 8 pm. After that I went to
celebrate Mohammed’s secret surprise birthday, he was not very surprised I thought.

But still, we made it very wild. People danced, drank and played games, they
still wanted to celebrate so they went to a club for their after party.
