Today I walked alone in the city and to my exchange school-Ohm. People changed,
sceneries still. It’s hard to describe when you find yourself a different identity,
this time I am just a tourist, not a student to this school.

What a nice day |
I met my
friend-Ivy, we had lunch together in a Vietnamese restaurant which is only one
street across from the univ.
Kim Chung restaurant |
I once had lunch with my cute Korean friend-Jiny,
and I really like the food there. Ivy has a German boyfriend now, she is
struggling with her midterm exams. Since she is full-time student in
international finance, this is her last year so she either finds an internship
or goes back to Hong Kong.
After our lunch, I went to the international office
to see my coordinator, Wai-Ying Fargel. I came in just at the perfect timing
because she is about to retire in two weeks, she is now 62 years old. We had a
long talk about Taiwan and China and some other exchange issues. All in all,
she recommended me if I want to work in Germany in the future, it’s better that
I can get a degree here, so it will be my master degree, or I will have to
prove that I have a high salary in Taiwan but that’s difficult to get since I am
so young, which company would be so generous to pay me that high? The sun went
down very fast, I walked all the way to the city center to buy some souvenirs and
back to the apartment. As for the dinner, Baris invited his Japanese friend and
another Korean boy, we went together to a Turkish restaurant. They are both
exchange students now and will stay there for 2 semesters.
The Korean guy knows
my friend Cho, another Korean I met during my exchange, very well. The Turkish food
tasted very special, the most unforgettable one must be the “salty yogurt”!
since we ordered a big meal combo for 4 people, we basically tried everything. We
played some video games back to apartment but I again fell asleep..
