A friend of Ines’s came to Nuremberg today with his 6 friends
accompany. I also went to city center to be their tour guide. Somehow I felt
they are not really Taiwanese, maybe when I go back to Taiwan, this feeling
will become clear and I will figure out the reason. Ok, so I took them to visit
the two most famous churches in the center but they didn’t enjoy it much. Later,
we walked up the street and reach the castle up the hill, that’s the highest
place you can be in Nuremberg. They took some pictures, I needed to meet up
Scott, who invited me to an Irish bar tonight. Ines decided to go to a bar with
me, while the Taiwanese people were going to a Hotpot restaurant. We met Scott
at Hbf, with his friends. There were two Asians, Tian yi and Willi. They both
spoke Mandarin but Willi’s was not that good. We took ubahn to Fuerth, quite
far from Nuremberg. On the way we met another Chinese girl, Linda, who also
spoke Mandarin. This was a celebration for them (FAU) because they all finished
one big exam today. I met another German girl, Sandra. Willi and Sandra told me
that they will go to Taiwan in March. One is going to my hometown, Taichung, to
teach people the German culture while Willi will go to NTU to learn Chinese for
three weeks. Sandra is excited about going to Feng Jia night market. I may have
the possibility to meet her when I go back and take her to the night market. I
will also meet Willi in Taipei since NTU is just next to NTUST (where I study).
All in all, we had a super time in Fuerth. Later on, we headed to a shisha bar,
it was my first life time going there, finally! Also Fuerth is a nice city, I
love the buildings and the price is cheaper than Nuremberg! Es macht keinen
Sinn! (it doesn’t make sense) we felt so relaxed in the bar but, the more you
smoked shisha, the more sleepy you would be. So we left at 11, and took ubahn
back, what a wonderful night! Thanks to Scott.
