I participated in an event which I can get to know the seniors who graduated from our school maybe 10 or 15 years ago, that’s one chance you can ask them some social skills or even for the internship. My contact person is the general manager of TUL Co Ltd. (撼訊科技股份有限公司). He was late for the meeting on Saturday and I was looking for him, the time when I met him, the meeting time was about to end.

It was a big pity that we only talked for 5 minutes then he had to attend another event. I felt a sense of disappointment, it was not what I expected.

Then I went back to dorm and studied. At night, I met up with Willi, this is his last weekend in Taiwan and he wanted to go to a bar. We had dinner together in Gong Guan and met another German exchange student, Hauke. I also invited my classmates to go with, actually I got the recommendation on the bar from them. At first, only three of us were in the bar, as my classmates came in, we were already many people on the table. My friends are not as talkative as I am, so mostly I did the talking and sometimes translated for them. Not long, two more Germans joined us, they were Patrick and Florian, also exchange students to our uni. I only order one Guiness and it cost me 170 NT while the others had ordered at least two. At least I enjoyed it a lot but since some of my friends still felt a bit shy and didn’t talk that much English, I felt sorry for them, hope they still had some fun. This is the first time I went to a bar with foreigners in Taiwanese bar. I already got used to that since I did that so often in Germany. We stayed till the bar closed and some of us took taxi back, I waved goodbye to Willi and wished him all the best in the future. Until now I still find it so unbelievable that our friendship can last after Germany.

The next day...
I looked around in the campus, and found some friends were also there. I found the stands from my department which was run by my juniors. I felt sad that they didn't know me and not even wanted to talk with me. The glory of my department has gone, the time has changed too much...
